Balasubramanian Thevarayan brings over 30 years of cross-industry experience in People Management, spanning Financial Services, Global Business Services, Consulting, and Manufacturing. Currently serving as General Manager of HR at B. Braun Medical Industries, he leads strategic human capital initiatives for one of Penang’s largest employers.

Known for aligning people strategies with business goals, Bala is a business-focused HR leader with expertise in Performance Management, Talent Development, Leadership, Employee Relations, and Employer Branding. A certified HRDF Trainer and former COPC Coordinator, he is also an advocate for diversity and behavioural excellence in organisations.

Beyond his corporate role, Bala contributes to the broader talent ecosystem, including his past service as Vice Chairman of the Penang Skills Development Centre (PSDC) Management Council.
