Ramli Atan is currently the Custodian Learning Specialist at PETRONAS Leadership Centre, the leadership development arm of the national oil and gas corporation of Malaysia.
Ramli has over 25 years of experience in learning and leadership development. Apart from the PETRONAS group of companies, he has undertaken L&D and consultancy projects with various companies both locally and internationally in Jakarta, Khartoum, Turkmenistan and Houston. Ramli has presented papers in various conferences and seminars at national as well as international levels. He has published a chapter titled ‘Developing Leaders within Emerging Multinationals: The PETRONAS Way’ in the Routledge Companion to International Management Education. He also led PETRONAS Leadership Centre to win the award of ‘Best Corporate University 2017’ in the category of ‘Business Impact’, awarded by the Global Council for Corporate University held in Paris, France.
Ramli holds a Masters Degree in ‘Curriculum and Instruction’ and ‘Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)’, awarded by the Association for Training and Development (ATD).
